|  If previous coating are loose, or the bonding to the cement is in doubt, remove the coating from the cement by power washing, mechanically sanding, grinding or chemically stripping.

|  Most coatings can be remove with a heavy duty Epoxy stripper. 

|  Apply the stripper to an area and cover with plastic sheet for 1–2 Hours. 

|  Remove the old coating by scrapping down the concrete. 

|  Clean and rinse with heavy duty degreaser.
